According to investigating officer Detective Todd Click of the RPD, an unknown male walked into the financial institution armed with a handgun and demanded money. After receiving a substantial amount of money the suspect fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.
“The unknown male was wearing a ball cap, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and had a mask covering the lower portion of his face. The unknown male was armed with a black, automatic handgun,” Click said.............................HAHA one read the description of the guy who robbed the bank and tell me how they came up with a fucking lord of the rings looking character!!!!! According to deputy Josh Brinson, shortly before 8:30 p.m., Brent A. Shelton, 42, of Liberty, was eastbound out of Rushville and traveling 55 mph when the 2000 Ford he was driving struck a cow standing in his path of travel. The force of the impact caused the animal to be thrown across the highway and into the north side ditch, killing the animal instantly. Shelton was able to remain in the eastbound lane and traveled roughly 230 feet before he could get stopped.
